In the upper gray bar, click on the STORE module, and then click on RFQs and purchase or sales orders in the left navigation bar. If we want to create a new demand and then send it to our suppliers, we click on the button New RFQ/order. In the open form, we fill in the Subject, keep the type of Purchase, and change the status to Demand. By clicking on the New item button, we will add the item we want to the request. We will now check the Item name, determine the Quantity, and optionally fill in the Unit price. Finally, click on the Save button. In the Order items table, we now see the item we added. Now click on the ... button and New from template next to the Attachment with RFQ, and then click on Request.pdf. We have created our request in PDF format.
To send our request to suppliers, check the box Send by e-mail, and then click on the button New supplier. Use the picker to select the contact you want and press the Save button. With our RFQ, we can reach more suppliers at once. So if we want to add another supplier, we will do the same. Now in the table we will check the selected Suppliers. By pressing the button Send to selected suppliers the request e-mail will be sent to the e-mail addresses of all suppliers that we have marked for sending. The text of the quotation will be inserted into the subject of the e-mail and an e-mail attachment will be included in the e-mail. So we click on the Send to selected suppliers button. If we really want to save this request and then send it by e-mail to selected suppliers, including the attachment with the request, we click on the OK button. On the All requests for quotation and purchase or sales orders page, we now see the RFQ we have created.
