1. Create quotation
In the module STORE we will create a new quotation after pressing the New quotation/contract button. Fill in the name of contract in the form and use the picker to select the customer. We will then check the price type. This was automatically filled in based on the characteristics of the client's business account. When we are done, we click on the Quotation items tab.
2. Insert items
Here we click on the New item button. We can insert either items without links to products or stock, items from the Products catalogue or Inventory items. In our case, we insert the stock item using a picker. Finally, select the quantity and click on the Save button. We now see the item we created in the Quotation items table.
3. Copy items to contract
If we want to switch the order from the status Quotation to the status Contract, we click on the button Copy to contract. This will copy the quotation items to the contract items, which we will see on the Contract items tab. At the same time, the status changes to Order. After clicking on the Contract items tab, we can edit the copied items. Of course, we don't have to copy the items, but we can insert them into the contract items in the same way as we do with the quotation items.
4. Expenditure goods delivery note
We will issue the goods delivery note for the contract in the Inventory tab, where we click on the New GDN button. We now see that you need to complete the planned billing date first. So we go back to the General tab, where we fill in the planned billing date. When we are done, we click on the Inventory tab again and then click on the New GDN button. We will fill friendly name of the goods delivery note in the open form. GDN is automatically assigned to our Contract. Now we click on the Copy items from contract button, which will copy the items we want to the GDN. Finally, click on the Stock release button. We can now see the expense created by us in the Goods delivery notes table. To save our order, click on the Save button. We now see the order we created on the All active contracts page.
