1. Creating printer records
The first step in using this application is to create records for corporate printers. We will create them in the module ORGANISATION, in which we will select the application Printers and print reports, and then click on Printers. Press the New printer button on the page. Fill in the printer name and site in the open edit form of the new printer record.
2. Creating a costs of printing
To create a new print price list, click on the New cost button next to the Costs of printing table. Here we check the printer and select the format for which we create the price list entry. We will now enter the purchase and sales price excl. VAT and save the record. When we are done, we click on the Save button.
3. Print reports
Now we can register the prints themselves in the company. In the left navigation bar, select Print records, and then press the New report button on the page. Fill out the description in the open form, check the name of the user who printed, and check the date. You can also assign printing to a specific contract using a picker. Next, select the printer, print format and fill in the number of copies. The data for the fields Sales price and Purchase price are calculated automatically. We will finally save the print record.
On the Print reports page you will find an overview of all copies. In the section Statistics (in the navigation bar) then simple tabular and graphical statistics of printing costs.
