1. Creating item categories for booking
Before creating bookings, it is necessary to create a catalog of items for bookings (so that there is something to book).
In the upper gray bar, click on ORGANISATION. In the left navigation bar on the Bookings application, then on Settings, and click on Item categories. On the page, press the New category button, and then go to the edit form of the new category. We simply fill in the category name and save the record.
2. Creating catalog items
If you want to create new booking items, click on Items to book in the left navigation bar, and then press the New item button. In the open edit form, fill in the name of the item and select from the list the category (created in the previous step as described) to which it belongs. If we create an item for the car category, we can assign the vehicle to it using a picker. We will save the record of the item at the end. We can now move on to the booking process itself.
3. Creating booking request
To create a booking request, click on the item New booking request in the left navigation bar. The new booking form will open. In it, we select the ed item with a picker, enter the reason, fill in the requested by (by default the logged in user) and the booking approver. Finally, we will check the booking date and save the booking request.
4. Approval of the application
The approver has now received a new booking request on the Bookings for my approval view page. After opening the record, it can therefore approve or reject this request by pressing the Approve or Reject button. However, even after the application is approved, it can be rejected retroactively and vice versa. We will approve our request and save the record. Once a booking request has been approved, it will turn green in the view pages. However, further requests for bookings of the same item, which interfere with the date of the already approved booking, can no longer be approved due to a collision.

After clicking on Calendar of bookings, we can see your booking in a clear calendar.
