The warehouse allows customers to set different price categories. For each category, the sales prices of stock items can be set subsequently.

The result is: Automatic assignment to subscribers with the correct price of the item being received by category

Settings

In order for the assignment to work, the sales price categories need to be set correctly

  • 1. Defining price categories
  • 2. Pricing items for multiple categories
  • 3. Assigning the customer to a category

1. Defining price categories

There can be an unlimited number of price categories in netgenius and they are set in Shop > Offers and Orders > Settings > Price Types.

When defining the price category, it is important to set the coefficient to “1”, otherwise the price would also be recalculated according to the coefficient. If at least one price type is not set, you cannot continue.

2. Pricing items for multiple categories

Sales prices are entered on the stock card in the Warehouse > Stock > Stock card > button New sales price.

Each sale price can have a defined validity date from. In this way, it is possible to monitor the development of prices in history or to plan a revaluation for the future.

3. Assigning the customer to the category

Each customer can fall into one price group. Affiliation can be set in the business relationship of the selected customer on the Details tab in the Default price type field. The price types defined in point 1 are available

Usage options

Price categories can be used when picking from stock items in the situations listed below

  • Bid or contract items
  • Issued invoices
  • Cash receipt items
  • Sales orders

In all cases, a table with products and their standard price and the price for the selected category according to the customer will be displayed when the picker is selected.
