1. Create inventory

In the upper gray bar, we click on the application group INVENTORY and from the left navigation bar we open the view page Stock takings. Now press the New stock taking button on the page. An edit form for a new stock taking record will open for us, where we can check the date, as well as the person who prepares the stock taking. Next, we select the stock to be included in the inventory (field Stock) and press the button Run stock taking – this will create stock taking items according to the stock cards located on the selected stock.

2. Check the status of items in stock

If we decide to check the status of items in stock, we will fill The Actual of each item in stock. Once we are done, we click on the Update button. Now we see in the table of stock taking items the difference between reality and records (the actual number of items found and the number that is registered in the information system). The total monetary amount of this difference is also shown.

If we are finished and satisfied with the created stock taking, we can press the button Settle differences, which will create a Goods received note for the surplus goods and a Goods delivery note for the missing ones.

Finally, we must not forget to accept the created goods received notes into stock or the created goods delivery notes from the stock.
