1. Create goods received note

From the INVENTORY application group, click on Goods received notes in the left navigation bar and press the New goods received note button in the open window. In the open edit form, fill in the friendly name, check the currency, business unit and date of issue. We can link the GRN to a specific contract. If this is the case, we will select the relevant contract using the picker. We can also fill in data about the supplier, whose data can also be selected from the database with a picker.

2. Create goods received note items

In the Goods received note items section, we then define the items and their number that are received for a certain stock (we therefore add the number of items within the already existing stock card, if such a card does not exist, the items will not be received). In the Add item field, we fill in the number of issued items, click on the picker and select the appropriate item that we want to add to the GRN. The result will be the creation of a new item of GRN in the number determined by us in advance.

3. Stock receipt

We can create several such items for the recipient, as soon as we are done, we can press the Stock receipt button. Now the GRN items will be marked as received and their inventory count will increase – this can be seen in the Stocks view page.

4. Print GRN

In the left navigation bar, we click on Goods received notes, and then we open the desired GRN on the page. In the form, we click on the Print goods received note button. A PDF file will be created for us, which we will then print.

5. Cancellation of receipt for stock

If we wish to retroactively cancel the GRN of items from the stock, but not to delete the GRN record, just click on the button Cancel stock receipt.
