1. Time sheets settings
In the HUMAN RESOURCES module, click on Settings in the left navigation bar, then on the view page Working hours. On the page, we check the length of working hours, the right to a break and the length of the break. Any overtime will then be calculated according to this setting. When we are done, we click on the Save button. In the left navigation bar, go to the page Active time sheet types, where on the page we click on the button New type. In the Type field, we fill in its name, specify the color, and specify the sale and purchase price. Finally, we save our form. On the Active time sheet types page, we can now see the type of time sheet we have created. Now we can move on to entering new time sheets.
2. Create time sheets
We create a new time sheet by clicking on the item My time sheets in the navigation bar of the application, and then pressing the button New time sheet on the page. Fill in the description in the open form of the new time sheet. Next, we select the time sheet type from the list we previously defined and check the date. Now we will fill in the field Start and End and use the picker to assign our time sheet to a specific contract. This will automatically fill in the name of the customer. At the end, we click on the Save button.
In the My task time sheets table we can now see the time sheet we created. We enter task time sheets manually, and we can create multiple task time sheets within one working day. NET Genium then automatically generates daily time sheets based on these time sheets, which contain the sum of the time worked on the given day. We can also define for a given employee whether a period of time worked is required when filling out the time sheet, or it is enough to just fill in the number of hours worked.
So we click on Employees in the left navigation bar, and then click on Job positions – contracts. On the page, open the record of the employment contract of the required employee and select From – To in the field Time sheets. We will then save the recording. Now we will show you the creation of a time sheet with the entry of the time period of the time worked. So we click on Time sheets, and then on the page we click on New time sheet. In the form, we fill in the description of the time sheet, check the type of time sheet and the date. Then we fill in the period of time worked. Next, we assign our time sheet to a specific contract, and click the Save button. In the table My task time sheets we see the task time sheets created by us. After clicking on the Daily summaries tab, we can see an automatically generated daily time sheet in the table My daily summaries.
