Creation and assignment of wire transfer to documents
Click on the FINANCE module in the upper gray bar, and then click on the Bank application in the left navigation bar. The import of bank statements and especially the PaymentService represent the fastest automated methods of creating wire transfers. However, another creation option is manual creation and editing of payment records. So on the page Wire transfers, we click on the button New wire transfer. In the open form, we fill in the account number, the amount, and the date od payment. The option Assigned means that the payment is assigned to a certain document. Not assigned means that there is no document to which the payment could be assigned or the payment has not yet been assigned to such a document. The No link option then indicates payments that are not tied to any document. In the Settlements section, we assign the appropriate document to our wire transfer using the picker. In our case, we select the incoming invoice. Finally, we change the status to Assigned and click on the Save button. On the Wire transfers page, we can now see the wire transfer we created. Within the bank application, we can also create wire transfers en masse by importing bank statements into NET Genium. These statements can be provided to us by the bank.
