NPEC Production
NPEC production is a system designed for new product introductions and product transfers to production. Whether it is prototyping or sampling for series production, products go through a series of activities, the successful completion of which is necessary to ensure that the product is delivered on time and to the required quality. The NPEC Production system works on the basis of activities whose description is mapped within the product process flow across the company where the NPEC Production system is implemented. Information on the progress of production is provided based on the status of these activities, their time frame, assigned responsibility within individual departments, and mutual sequence and continuity of activities. These conditions are user-definable for activities within the product templates, so the user has full control over the setting of the process flow of the product through production. The use of templates with activities enables simple assignment of the production plan for new products and transfers of products to production. The NPEC Production system is further focused on the identification and management of new parts and tools and their control within the manufactured product. It brings digitization of the overview and plan of production activities associated with the introduction of new products and the transfer of products to production. Complies and is compatible with ISO 9001:2015.

- Clarity in the history of orders and activities
- Efficiency and optimization of production
- Reduction in the amount of e-mail communication and meetings within the company
APQP and Production NPEC
The system adapts to the requirements of a specific company, activities can be set according to specific individual needs. As part of the introduction of the NPEC Production system, an APQP analysis is being carried out. It is a qualitative tool for planning the production process of new or transferred products. The result of the analysis is the breakdown of the company's activities within individual gateways, where the gateways include a description of individual activities, inputs and expected outputs of activities, responsibility of individual departments or workers for these activities, locations of activities and used tools for processing these activities.
ERP and Manufacturing NPEC
The NPEC Production system forms a link between activities within individual departments, activities for the introduction of new products and product transfers to production, and the ERP system with the recording of "hard" data. Interconnection of both systems can be solved automatically or manually in the form of an import bridge.
Kanban board and Production NPEC
The NPEC Production system uses the status of activities, assignment of responsibilities, time frames, sequences and connections with respect to other activities for the product to provide information on the product's development. In this way, activities are simply allocated for processing, on which workers can focus within their competences, for their completion. This will significantly reduce the frequency of inquiries about the progress of product production in the company.
PDCA and Production NPEC
The NPEC Production system uses the PDCA (plan – do – check – act) approach and is implemented in phases
- Planning (plan) - setting goals in the field of OTD delivery of products on time and in the required quality, elimination of extra transport costs, reduction of overtime hours of workers, improvement of communication between departments while reducing downtime and errors
- Implementation (do) - introduction of the NPEC system, training of workers
- Evaluation of benefits (check) - evaluation of OTD in the area of product deliveries on time and in the required quality, savings in transport, reduction of overtime hours, improvement of communication between departments, reduction of downtime and errors
- Standardization (act) - stabilization of the production flow process and associated activities to complete the product, setting a new standard
Object Schema
To manufacture the product, you first need to enter an order. Certain activities and activity plans are subsequently assigned to the order based on the type of product or service. These orders may contain specific tools for the implementation/production of the order.
Brief overview of the prototype manufacturing process
The first step is to create a job in the office worker application. By means of pre-prepared activity templates it determines the processes and actions that are necessary to complete the order.
Furthermore, it is possible to assign tools to the job, again from the pre-prepared activity templates, to assign tool activities to the job.
